Jonathan Fast, MSW, PhD

 

Jonathan Fast is a clinician, researcher, and author of 11 books. During the McCarthy era, his father, the novelist Howard Fast, was imprisoned for contempt of congress, politicizing him at an early age. He attended Princeton University, Columbia University, and Yeshiva University. He has been a therapist, a school social worker at an urban high school, and the clinical director of a children's psychiatric day hospital.  He is currently a professor of social work at Wurzweiler School of Social Work, at Yeshiva University.
